today i went to a half day seminar hosted by angel beat.
it was informative.
alot of security info, network infrastructure talk, some stuff on verizons mifi cards (wireless hotspots) ..i still will tether.. a microsoft intro to windows 7 (aka safaris twin) and a really good salad.
the CEO, Ron Gerber of angelbeat (really nice guy) gave me a shout out during his introduction thanking me for tweeting with the (#angelbeat) and he put together a good morning for companies to intro/sell their technology.

if you want me to be interested in your product be animated, alive, energetic, believe in what your selling, make me laugh, ENGAGE your audience..isnt that public speaking 101?
it amazes me that cisco, microsoft etc. pay these people money who pitch their products poorly!

i also will give angelbeat’s seminars another shot..
the CEO seems to understand these things can be painful and really does a good job moving the speakers along.

i needed to order 2 batteries for 2 laptops.
i was dreading the service call.
i had the service tags #’s.
luckily, im a “preferred customer” (gold team 32)
called dells “preferred customer line”
the entire process took 10 minutes.
i was impressed.
shout out to abby over at dell who not only knew english def. resided on the eastern seaboard.
good luck to those who aren’t “preferred customers”
a tip for the non-preferred customer… the usual wait time is 20 min + on there customer service line….
find a gold member and let them do the ordering for you.
