i wanna give this toilet a whirl!

i was watching a show last night about buying apartments in tokyo, japan. not only is this one of the most expensive cities in the world they have the coolest toilets!!!

they showed apartments and every time they went into a bathroom they showed this toilet.

in the US we are used to sitting down, doing our business, and continuing our  day without any bathroom mishaps…usually. but toilets in Japan come with remote controls and buttons!

there were 2 features that sold me on these toilets. they have a seat warmer (to keep your tush nice and toasty on cold winter morning/nights) and a white noise generator. this button will run some water,  play the sound of running water, or play music or a gentle humming sound. all there to disguise what you are doing on there which i would absolutely love cause i always run water.

i also learned that when you wash your hands after using the bathroom you wont find paper towels in any public bathroom. ever. japanese people carry a handkerchief  at all times to dry their hand with which is gross. i get the no paper towels but reusing a handkerchief? no no.
i really have no interest in visiting japan but their toilets are pretty damn cool.
