be careful driving.

yesterday i got into a car accident, my first one ever.
i will spare you the details
(and for insurance reasons right now i have too)
but it was really, really  scary and thank god im fine.
i have been at work both days  (i opted out of the emergency room…im a trooper and really feel that after something like that think you need to resume normal life asap)but i havent had energy to post anything. since im a little out of it today
(im just entering numbers into a rev. report in excel)
my tech posts are on hold for another day or 2.
i learned a lot about myself yesterday and am proud of how i handled everything.
i dealt with the situation and moved on successfully (only crying after it was all over for a few minutes cause the “what ifs” started hitting me)
one funny thing at the accident site yesterday was when one cop saw me counting backup tapes from a bag i keep them in. he stopped me and suspiciously questioned what im counting and what is on these 800 “gee bee” tapes?
i looked at him and started to explain the backups, how its done, why its done, how i really am over tapes but my budget doesn’t allow me to virtualize yet…..
he looked at me like i had 10 heads and again asked if i had hit my head…hm.
ha.
thank god i didnt hit my head.
im going to take more motrin and enter more #’s in excel.
